Tips for a balanced lifestyle

What are some tools we could all use to create, within our lives, more balance and peace?



Firstly, I recommend that you take a piece of paper and write down exactly what a balanced lifestyle means to you. Is it a balance between spending time at work efficiently so you can spend more time with your kids? Or if you do not have children, is it about spending more time with your family, your pets or even by yourself? If so, doing what? What is it that is important to you and your own personal growth?

Creating Balance


The ultimate balance strategy is finding the time each day to schedule some time for meditation, some time for exercise and some time for reflection and/or visualization of your desires. It does not have to be long, but most studies show that approximately 20 minutes daily for each practice is enough and will dramatically change the course of your life.


The beauty of taking time to do these 3 things is that, if you do them regularly, all the other areas of your life will automatically improve. You don't actually have to try to juggle every area of your life in order to create space and peace. All you have to do is quiet your mind for a short period of time every day, move your body on that same daily basis and have faith in your heart, and a clear mental picture, that things will fall into place.
